We are delighted to be taking part in the Grounds for Appeal Project, a nationwide initiative led by Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre and supported by funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Building on the success of our original Grounds for Appeal Project in 2016, which made the North Riding Military Tribunal Papers 1916-1918 widely accessible via our online catalogue, we now have an exciting opportunity to focus on the people behind the records.
Our volunteers will be uncovering the stories of those who appealed in North Yorkshire, as well as those who were part of the tribunal process.
